2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Sold Out In India; 2nd Batch Will Arrive In H2 2021

It’s been just two days the all-new Suzuki Hayabusa marked its entry in India. According to a fresh media report, the first batch of the supersport tourer has been sold out in the country. The first lot includes 101 units that will soon be delivered to their customers with a complimentary rear seat cowl. The company has stopped accepting bookings for the new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa. The second batch of the bike will arrive in the second half of this year.

Priced at the 16.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Hayabusa comes with improved design and aerodynamics, advanced features and updated engine. The bike derives power from a 1,340 cc, four-stroke, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline four engine. Compared to the previous motor, the updated one is 10bhp less powerful and 5Nm less torquier.

Now, it pushes out a claimed power of 187bhp at 9700rpm and 150Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. With a kerb weight of 264kgs, which is 2kgs lesser than before, the bike offers a top speed of 299kmph. One of the biggest changes has been made to its braking system. The model now comes equipped with Brembo’s Stylema calipers up front. It runs of Bridgestone Battlax S22 tyres. As mentioned above, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa comes with updated bodywork and styling. While the original stance has been retained, the supersport tourer carries sharper lines with better aerodynamics. The newly-designed LED headlamp, new mirrors, turn indicators and position lights enhance its new look.

Some of its key features include a new TFT display positioned in the centre, three power modes, cruise control, three levels of engine brake control, cornering ABS, launch control, hill hold control, 10 levels of anti-wheelie control and 10 levels of traction control. The new Hayabusa can be had in three new colour schemes – Metallic Matt Sword Silver/Candy Daring Red, Glass Sparkle Black/Candy Burnt Gold and Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matt Stellar Blue.
