2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Launch On 26th April – 10 Key Facts

The new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is all set to hit Indian roads on coming 26th April. While the official booking details are yet to be announced, select dealerships have already started taking pre-orders for the vehicle. The supersport tourer has witnessed noticeable cosmetic changes along with a few feature upgrades and a more powerful engine. The bike’s new model is claimed to be the “quickest Hayabusa ever”.

Based on Suzuki’s twin-spar aluminum frame architecture, the new model weighs lesser (2kgs) than before. It helps achieve a lower center-of-gravity and a 50:50 weight distribution ratio, thus improving its ride quality and handling.

2021 Suzuki Hayabusa features

Powering the new 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is a 1340cc, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine boosted with updated fuel injection technology with ride-by-wire throttle bodies.

Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox with two-way quick shifter and an autobilpper.

Suspension system has also been updated. The new Suzuki Hayabusa comes equipped with optimized inverted telescopic and link type, single shock rear unit.

The larger and newly-designed brake rotors and better aerodynamics enhance its braking performance and efficiency.

2021 Suzuki Hayabusa changes

The new Hayabusa has a new, lighter symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system that ensures better flow and a thrilling exhaust note.

Some of its key features include 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) and Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-a). The latter one includes Power Mode Selector, Engine Brake Control System, Motion Track Traction Control System, Anti-Lift Control System and Bi-Directional Quick Shift System.

The overall length, width and height of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa stand at 2180mm, 735mm, 1165mm respectively. It sits on a 1480mm long wheelbase and has a 125mm of ground clearance. The supersport tourer offers 800mm of seat height and 20-litres of fuel tank capacity.

The bike has been assembled with 120/70ZR17M/C front and 190/50ZR17M/C rear tubeless tyres.
