Korean automaker, Hyundai has recently updated the Creta mid-sized SUV with new premium features. Adding to it, the brand is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited Alcazar 7-seater premium SUV. Hyundai has silently updated the Verna sedan, as it now comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is now available on the S+ and SX variants. Interestingly, the top-spec SX(O) variant misses out on this feature. The Hyundai Verna is available in 3 engine options – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-diesel. The NA petrol engine produces 113bhp of power and 145Nm of torque, and is paired to either a CVT or a 6MT.
The 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo engine churns out 118bhp of power and 172Nm of torque. It is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The oil burner is good for 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
