2021 Hyundai Tucson Rendered With 98% Claimed Accuracy

The 2021 Hyundai Tucson design will be inspired by the Concept Vision T, which was unveiled at the 2019 LA Auto Show.

Korean automaker, Hyundai had showcased the Concept Vision T at the 2019 LA Auto Show. The concept is claimed to preview the new-gen Hyundai Tucson, which has been spotted testing multiple times on foreign soil. The new model is scheduled to be unveiled in August 2020 and is likely to be launched in select International markets by the end of this year.

We have already seen several renderings of the new Hyundai Tucson. However, the Korean website KKS Studio has released new renderings which they claimed are 98% accurate. In fact, the digital renderings look quite realistic and offer a clear view of how the new Tucson could look like.

Hyundai officials have already confirmed that the next-gen 2021 Hyundai Tucson will have striking design, which is also visible in the new renderings. Upfront is a prominent grille, which integrates many LED triangular lights. The rear has tiger claws for taillights. Also visible is the sculpted bonnet, sloping roofline, strong beltline, aggressive creases all around the body and the squared wheel arches.

It is reported that the next-gen Hyundai Tucson will be bigger in dimensions to offer more space inside the cabin. The new model could also adopt a long wheelbase model in future; however, Hyundai hasn’t made any official statement on the same. The new Hyundai Tucson will directly rival the likes of the Honda CR-V, Citroen C5 Aircross, Skoda Karoq, Volkswagen Tiguan and the Toyota RAV4.

The 2021 Hyundai Tucson is likely to receive a new 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with around 190bhp of power. The company is also readying the N-line variant of the SUV, which is expected to feature over 340bhp of engine. The European-spec model could receive the newly developed 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo engine producing about 160bhp of power. There could be a hybrid version with 1.6-litre engine.
