2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Teaser Reveals Angry-Looking Front Face

2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Teaser

Hyundai is readying a wide range of new SUVs for the global markets, and one such is the heavily updated version of the Santa Fe SUV. For the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe facelift, Hyundai will be changing the platform and the entire design. This is quite interesting as mid-life facelifts normally received cosmetic design changes and upgraded cabin. The fourth generation Hyundai Santa Fe is only 2 years old, but it is set to receive significant upgrades.

The company has released 2 teaser images of the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, which shows two different front grille patterns. What’s more striking is the stylish and aggressive looking headlamps with vertically stacked daytime running lights that is placed between the grille pattern to form a “T” shape. It is also likely to receive radar cruise control. The grille pattern is completely new and looks completely different from the current model.

Hyundai has also confirmed that the new Santa Fe will be the brand’s first SUV in Europe to feature an “all-new third-generation vehicle platform.” This platform is compatible to accommodate different engine options as Hyundai also plans to introduce hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the Santa Fe. The company also claims that the new platform will improve the performance, safety and handling of the new Santa Fe.

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe will be launched in the European markets in September this year. The company is likely to receive more details about the new Santa Fe in near future. It is expected to first go on sale in South Korea, while the USA launch is likely towards the end of this year.

Hyundai has no plans to launch the new Santa Fe SUV in the Indian market. Instead, the company is considering the Palisade 8-seater full-size SUV for our market. Adding to it, the company will soon introduce the Tucson facelift. Hyundai will also launch the 7-seater version of the Creta SUV in India by the end of this year or early 2021.

Hyundai will launch the new generation Elite i20 hatchback in the Indian market during festive season, before Diwali. The new model will be based on the modified version of the existing platform, which also underpins the new Venue compact SUV. The new model will be offered with 3 engine options – a 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel.
