2021 Hyundai Creta BlueLink System To Get An Upgrade

The South Korean carmaker will soon upgrade the BlueLink System of its top-selling SUV – Hyundai Creta. The SUV’s new system will come with additional features including OTA (over the air) updates and voice commands. It’s the same unit that has already been offered on the i20 premium hatchback and newly-launched Alcazar 6/7-seater SUV. The Creta’s existing BlueLink offers over 50 connectivity features under four categories – Safety, Remote, Voice Recognition, Smart Watch Services.

Compared to the Creta’s BlueLink system, the new Hyundai Alcazar offers some extra features such as remote air purifier activation, remote seat ventilation activation, dial by name, circket and football updates, maps where am I function, OTA navigation update, voice control for changing air direction and voice-activated driver’s side window open function.

Hyundai Alcazar Vs Hyundai Creta – Major Differences

The Hyundai Alcazar is essentially the bigger and premium version of the Creta. However, it received a few noticeable design changes and feature upgrades along with different engine setup. One of the major different is the 6/7-seats configurations with individual and bench type seats for the second row. While the 2021 Hyundai Creta has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, the three-row SUV offers a bigger 10.25-inch unit with two analogue dials for the tachometer and speedometer.

Being a more premium product, the Hyundai Alcazar has been equipped with features such as a 360 degree camera, blind view monitor (first-in-segment) and a wireless charger for the middle row occupants. Its standard safety kit has more advanced fitments such as tyre pressure monitoring system (standard), hill start assist, driver rear view monitor, rear disc brakes, rear parking sensors and camera and front parking sensors. While the Alcazar petrol can be had with either a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox, the Creta petrol is available with the CVT and DCT (turbo) automatic transmissions.
