Hyundai India has silently revised prices and features of the 2021 Hyundai Aura compact sedan. Save for the entry-level E variant that costs Rs 5.92 lakh, all petrol and diesel model get expensive by Rs 4,000. The model lineup has four diesel variants – S, S AMT, SX (O) and SX+ AMT – priced at Rs 7.89 lakh, Rs 8.9 lakh, Rs 9.15 lakh and Rs 9.34 lakh respectively. The Aura S CNG model can be had at Rs 7.48 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
Except the base trim E, all variants of the 2021 Hyundai Aura get the bootlid integrated rear spoiler as standard feature. While the 15-inch wheels are available from the S petrol manual variant onwards, the AMT counterpart comes with machine finished wheels. The top-end SX and SX (O) trims are now miss out on the Arkamys audio system. The entry-level E variant gets 13-inch spare wheel instead of the 14-inch unit. Features such as leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and cruise control (only for 1.2L petrol variant) are reserved for the top-end SX (O) trim.
No other changes have been made to the vehicle. The updated Hyundai Aura continues to be offered with the 83bhp, 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol, 100bhp, 1.0L, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol and 74bhp, 1.2L, 3-cylinder diesel engine options. The CNG version delivers power worth 69bhp with 95Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across the model lineup. It can also be had with an AMT gearbox. The 1.2L petrol manual returns a claimed mileage of 20.5kmpl and its AMT version offers 20.1kmpl. The Aura diesel promises fuel efficiency of 25.35kmpl with manual gearbox and 25.4kmpl with AMT unit. Mileage of the CNG model is rated at 28.4km/kg.
