Hero MotoCorp has revealed the 2021 Harley-Davidson model lineup for the Indian market. The list includes 13 models priced from Rs 10.11 lakh (for the Iron 883) to Rs 34.99 lakh (for the Road Glide Special). Prices of the new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 have also been announced. The adventure bike comes in two variants – Standard and Special – that cost Rs 16.90 lakh and Rs 20.90 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. On the engine front, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 gets a 1252cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The motor has been tuned for producing a top power of 150bhp at 9,000rpm and 127Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. It has been updated with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) for an even distribution of torque throughout the rev range.

The bike offers five riding modes, namely, Rain, Road, Sport, Off-road, and a customizable mode. The Off-road Plus and customizable Off-road Plus modes are exclusively offered on the Special variant only). All these modes can be changed or controlled via a 6.85-inch TFT touchscreen that has a non-reflective glass panel.
Feature-wise, the 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 has been packed with lots of advanced features including torque slip control, linked braking, hill hold assist, lean sensitive ABS and traction control. The feature list also includes adaptive headlights, spoked wheels shod with tubeless tyres, heated grips, aluminium skid plate, adjustable rear brake pedal, steering damper, adaptive ride height, semi-active suspension with vehicle load control and tyre pressure monitoring system.
In October 2020, Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp signed a new distribution and licensing agreement for the Indian market. Under this partnership, Hero will take care of sales and services of Harley Davidson motorcycles in the country. Additionally, it will sell Harley’s accessories, components, riding gear, apparel and general merchandise via the brand-exclusive Harley-Davidson dealers and Hero’s existing dealerships.
