2021 Ford Bronco SUV New Rendering Based on Spy Images
The legendary Bronco is all set to rejoin Ford’s portfolio of SUVs towards the end of this year. The company will launch the new model in 2 avatars – the Bronco Sport and the Bronco. The Bronco Sport will be a mid-sized SUV to challenge the Jeep Compass, while the Ford Bronco will rival the Jeep Wrangler. It is likely to be offered with 2 or 4 removable doors and a removable roof.
Here is a rendering based on the new spy images that shows the possible design of the upcoming new 2021 Ford Bronco. The SUV will come with a boxy shape with retro styling. It features a tapered roof. The spotted models were equipped with a spare wheel mounted out back; however, the rendering misses out on this design element.
The SUV gets striking grille upfront and round-shaped LED headlamps with DRLs, BRONCO lettering on the grille, round fog lamps and dual-tone bumper. The rendering seems based on the Ford Ranger. it features usable roof rails, relatively simple side profile and slightly curvish rear with roof-integrated spoiler and LED tail-lamps.
The 2021 Ford Bronco will get the turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine that currently powers the Ford Ranger. Adding to it, it will also receive a twin-turbo 2.7-litre V6 engine that is available on the Ford F-150. The SUV could also receive a 7-speed manual gearbox with a “crawler” gear for off-roading. The company has already confirmed that the SUV will eventually receive a hybrid powertrain.
