2021 BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS Launched; Cheaper Than Before

BMW Motorrad has introduced the 2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS in the country. While the updated G 310 R has been priced at Rs 2.45 lakh, the G 310 GS costs Rs 2.85 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Compared to the old models, the new ones are more affordable.

Deliveries of the new models are likely to be commenced by the end of this month. Buyers can book the bikes by paying a sum of Rs 50,000. The company has confirmed that the bookings will be on a first come first serve basis.

2021 BMW G 310 GS Price

The bikemaker is offering finance schemes under which the updated G 310 R can be had with a low EMI of Rs 4,500 and the G 310 GS can be purchased with an EMI payment of Rs 5,500. The G 310 twins have been made available with 3 years/unlimited km warranty as standard. It can be extended for two more years.

Both motorcycles have witnessed minor design changes along with the BS6-compliant engine. The 2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS receive LED headlamp, LED turn signals and LED taillamps. The bikes have LED DRL running across the headlamp. While the ‘GS’ badging on the fuel tank is bigger than before, the ADV-style beak up front has a ‘Rallye’ moniker.  

BS6 BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS Colours

The updated BMW G 310 GS comes in three new colours, namely, Polar White (for an extra Rs 6,000), Style Rallye in Kyanit Blue Metallic and “40 Years of GS” edition. The 40 Years of GS is being offered in Cosmic Black shade with yellow graphics. The engine, clutch, water pump and alternator come in a new Titanium Grey colour finish. There is new 4-level adjustable brake and clutch levers as well. The street naked bike comes with features such as a ride-by-wire throttle, brake levers and adjustable clutch.

Powering the 2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS is the updated 313cc engine meeting the BS6 emission standards. The motor pushes out a peak power of 34bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700rpm. The same engine does duty in the TVS Apache RR 310. Power is delivered to wheels via a 6-speed gearbox. No changes have been made to the suspension and braking system of the G 310 twins.
