2021 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Reaches Dealership; Launch Soon

Bajaj Auto will soon roll out the new Platina 110 H-Gear motorcycle with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). Ahead of its official launch, the model has started arriving at dealerships across the nation. The 2021 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS will be the first entry-level 110cc bike to receive the ABS braking system in the country. Unlike the regular model, the new ABS version features White spoked alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The ‘Platina’ and ‘ABS’ badging on the rear shock absorbers have Golden paint scheme. The bike also receives a 3D logo with new decals. All turn indicators have also been revised and now look sharper than before. The saddle quality and cushioning is better than before. No other cosmetic changes have been made to the bike.

The 2021 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS receives an analogue instrument cluster instead of the regular semi-digital console. This time around, the bikemaker might equip the Platina 110 ABS with ComforTec technology with nitrox SoS suspension setup. For power, the 2021 Bajaj Platina ABS will use the same 115cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor delivers a claimed power of 8.44bhp and 9.81Nm of torque. The commuter will have telescopic forks upfront and twin Nitrox shocks suspension at the rear. It will continue to feature a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake at the rear.

While the official price of the new Platina ABS variant will be revealed in coming weeks, it’s estimated to cost around Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom). At present, the commuter comes in two trims – Drum brake and Disc brake – priced from Rs 64,301 (ex-showroom).
