The much-awaited 2021 Audi A4 facelift has finally been launched in the Indian market. Available at a starting price of Rs 42.34 lakh, the new model is available at Audi’s authorised dealerships across the country. Interested buyers can book the new car online or at dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs lakh.

Production of the 2021 Audi A4 facelift has already been commenced at Volkswagen Group’s Aurangabad facility. The new sedan is available in 2 variants – Premium Plus and Technology – priced at Rs 42.34 lakh and Rs 46.67 lakh respectively.
2021 Audi A4 Engine Specs
The biggest change is made under the hood. The updated A4 sedan is now equipped with a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing 190bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. The previous model was equipped with a 150bhp, 1.4L turbo-charged petrol. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 7.3 seconds.
Design Changes
The new Audi A4 looks largely identical to the previous model, which was discontinued due to the new emission norms in April 2020. The new model comes with subtle design changes to keep things fresh in the market. It comes with a wider single-frame grille, newly-styled LED headlamps with DRLs, new bumpers, re-styled tail-lights, trapezoidal-shaped exhaust pipes and new five-spoke alloy wheels.

The cabin looks identical to the previous model; however, it comes with slightly revised feature-list. Adding to it, the sedan gets a bigger floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options. It continuous to offer physical buttons for features like climate control. The sedan has Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument console, LED lighting system, multi-zone climate control and others.
Competition
The 2021 Audi A4 sedan will directly challenge the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes C-Class. The 3 Series is available at a starting price of Rs 48.60 lakh, while the C-Class is tagged at Rs 47.94 lakh. The sedan will also rival the Jaguar XE and the upcoming Volvo S60.
