2020 Yamaha MT 15 Unveiled Ahead of Its Launch
Yamaha Motor India has revealed three new models – Fascino 125 FI, Ray ZR 125 FI and 2020 MT-15 motorcycle. All models come with BS6-compliant engines, improved styling and a few new features. The 2020 Yamaha MT-15 receives a special ‘ICE FLUO-VERMILLION’ colour along with White and Neon Orange colour scheme and the regular Dark Matt Blue shade.
At the heart of the 2020 Yamaha MT-15 is the BS6-compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor is capable to produce a maximum power of 18.3bhp and a peak torque of 14.1Nm, thus making it slightly less powerful and less torqueier than its BS4 version.
Similar to the outgoing model, the 2020 Yamaha MT-15 derives its braking power from the front and rear hydraulic single disc brakes with a single-channel ABS. The suspension setup of the bike consists of telescopic forks upfront and swingram rear unit.
The company claims that the 2020 Yamaha MT-15 offers motard-like riding position. The motorcycle gets a side-stand engine cut off switch, new radial tyre at the rear, short tail with a vertical taillight. Read – Yamaha Ray ZR 125 FI Gets Bigger Engine and Better Styling
