2020 Volkwagen Tiguan Facelift In The Works
In May 2017, Volkswagen had entered into SUV space in India with Tiguan after the Touareg was discontinued from the market. In order to keep things fresh, the German carmaker will give a mid-life update to the VW Tiguan sometime next year.
Globally, the company will roll out performance-oriented Tiguan R Line variant in 2021. The facelifted version of the SUV is likely to receive subtle cosmetic upgrades along with a bunch of new features and colour options. Inside, the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift will continue to feature Volkswagen’s three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, centre console integrated 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink support, dashboard and front door panels with dark grid inserts, a panoramic sunroof.

Under the hood, the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift might continue to house the BS4-compliant 2-litre TDI engine producing 141bhp with 340Nm of torque. This turbocharged oil burner will come with the same 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
