In February 2018, TVS Motor Company introduced its most powerful and India’s first connected scooter – Ntorq 125. It has become the most awarded scooter of FY 2018-19 and crossed the 2 lakh sales mark in less than a year. In order to commemorate the occasion, the company rolled out a special Matte Silver Ntorq edition featuring ‘Scooter of the Year’ insignia on the front apron.

Now, the Chennai-based two-wheeler maker is ready to give a mid-life update to the scooter. The 2020 TVS Ntorq facelift has been teased ahead of its official launch. The teaser shows the new LED headlamp (instead of the halogen unit) and T-shaped LED DRLs (daytime running lights).

The 2020 TVS Ntorq 125 facelift is likely to receive new body graphics along with a few new features and colour schemes. It will continue to feature SmartXonnect Bluetooth feature, a fully digital instrument cluster with 55 features, (first-in-class), navigation assist, in-built lap-timer, multi-ride statistic modes and more. Engine mechanism of the 2020 TVS NTorq facelift is likely to remain unchanged. The updated model might come with the same CVTi-REVV 124.79cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine paired to an automatic gearbox. It delivers a peak power of 9.3bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.5Nm, thus making it the most powerful TVS scooter. It can attain a top-speed of 95kmph.

More details on the 2020 TVS Ntorq 125 facelift will be revealed in coming days. It’s likely to go on sale near around Diwali season. Currently, the scooter comes in two variants – Drum and Disc – priced at Rs 58,872 and Rs 59,995 respectively.  The updated version could be priced premium by around Rs 4,000.
