The 2020 Toyota Yaris hatchback will make its public debut at the 2019 New York Motor Show in April

Japanese automaker, Toyota has officially revealed the new-generation 2020 Yaris hatchback for the US market. The new model will make public debut at the 2019 New York International Auto Show. It will be offered in mono-spec LE and XLE grades, with standard equipment levels in both that defy the segment expectations.

The 2020 Toyota Yaris hatchback carries forward the bold, “cab-rearward” design. Upfront is a hexagonal lower front grille and sharp-eyed headlamps. The top-end model gets automatic LED headlamps incorporate daytime running lamps. It is available in 7 exterior paint schemes – Stealth, Graphite, Pulse, Sapphire, Chromium, Frost and Icicle. The 2020 Yaris rides on 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Other design highlights include body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, a chrome tailpipe, electrically adjustable wing mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, etc. The hatchback gets smart key entry with push button start, fog lights, rear camera, chrome interior door handles and illuminated vanity mirrors as standard features.

The new-generation Toyota Yaris gets 7-inch touchscreen display audio system with six speakers. This system is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition and Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free phone. The top-end model gets leatherette seating surfaces, automatic climate control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic LED headlamps and leather upholstery steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake handle. The Yaris Hatchback comes standard with an advanced active safety system that includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Brake Override System (BOS). The array of six airbags includes curtain airbags that help protect front and rear seat occupants.
