2020 Tata Nexon, Tiago, Tigor To Launch On 22nd January

Tata Nexon Facelift

Tata Motors will kick start the year with the launch of three models – 2020 Tata Nexon, Tiago and Tigor facelifts. Pre-bookings of the vehicles have already been commenced at a token sum of Rs 11,000.

All three models will be BS6-compliant and are likely to witness a price hike. Minor design changes and feature upgrades will also be made to the new Nexon, Tiago and Tigor.

Tata Tiago Facelift

The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will share some of its design bits with the Nexon EV that will see a release on 28th January. The subcompact SUV will receive the BS6-ready 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. The 2020 Tata Tigor and Tiago will be made available the BS6-compliant 1.2L petrol engine only.

The diesel powertrain will be discontinued from the hatchback and compact sedan lineup. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT. The carmaker might also add a CNG variant at a later stage.

Tata Tigor Facelift

Recently, the carmaker introduced the new ‘ZConnect’ connected car technology that will debut on the Tata Nexon EV. It will be made available across the Tata range, but in a phased manner.

As of now, there is no clarity whether the 2020 Tata Nexon, Tiago and Tigor facelifts will come with the brand’s new connected car technology or not.
