2020 Tata Nexon – Improved Styling, New Features, BS6 Engines

The spy pictures revealed that the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will receive minor changes inside and out. Major update will be made under the hood – i.e. BS6-compliant engines.

The updated Nexon will carry a more imposing front fascia featuring a newly-designed grille, revised bumper with new fog lamp assembly and new angular projector headlamps. Interior details of the Nexon facelift are still under the wraps. Though, it’s likely to gets a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Voice recognition feature. The subcompact SUV might also come with a new steering wheel with mounted controls, sunroof (optional), rains sensing wipers and cruise control.

As mentioned above, the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will receive BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) emission norms compliant petrol and diesel powertrains. The diesel variant will be equipped with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged unit generating 108bhp with 250Nm. Both engines will be available with a 6-speed manual and an AMT (automated manual transmission) option.
