2020 Tata Nexon Brochure Leaked; Debut Next Month
Tata Motors has a handful of new products for the Indian market. Recently, the carmaker has confirmed that it will unveil 12 models at the 2020 Auto Expo including BS6-compliant versions, facelifts, 4 global models and concept studies. One of them will be the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift that has been caught on camera multiple times.
Ahead of its public debut, the brochure of the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift has been leaked on the web. The leaked scan reveals that the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will share some of its design bits and features with the upcoming Nexon EV.
Similar to the Altroz premium hatchback, the updated Nexon will carry the brand’s Impact 2.0 design philosophy. Upfront, the vehicle will feature a re-designed grille, slimmer and wider headlamps, a larger air dam, revised bumper and a flatter bonnet. Minimal changes will be made to its side profile. The new Nexon will also get the new taillamps and tailgate.
Interior will also witness comprehensive changes. The 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will get a new all digital instrument console, new seat fabric, steering mounted cruise control and faux carbon fiber inserts on the door panels.
The new Nexon will come in a choice of 6 dual-tone colour schemes – Pure Silver with White roof, Tectonic Blue with White roof, Caligary White with Sonic Silver roof, Flame Red with White roof, Foliage with White roof and Daytona Grey with White roof. Engine options of the 2020 Tata Nexon facelift will include the BS6-compliant version of the existing 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel. In their BS4 form, the gasoline unit and oil burner deliver power worth 108bhp with 170Nm and 108bhp with 260Nm respectively. Transmissions will also remain unchanged – i.e. a 6-speed manual and an AMT.
