2020 Tata Harrier Automatic – Top Changes Explained In A Video
2020 Tata Harrier is now on sale in the Indian market. Prices of the updated model were announced at the Auto Expo 2020. Compared to the old model, the new BS6 version is around Rs 25,000 – Rs 30,000 pricier (depending on the variant). Now, the entry-level XE variant costs Rs 13.69 lakh and the top-spec XZA+ is priced at Rs 18.85 lakh.

The automatic variants are made available in the price range of Rs 16.25 lakh – Rs 20.15. The Dark Edition manual and automatic models are priced at Rs 18.95 lakh and 20.25 lakh respectively. Prices of the dual-tone version start from Rs 17.60 lakh and go up to Rs 20.15 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Major update that has been made to the 2020 Tata Harrier is the BS6-compliant, more powerful diesel engine with an automatic gearbox. The SUV’s updated model can be had with a 2.0L Kryotec diesel motor pushing out a healthy 170bhp with 350Nm. The oil burner is paired to a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. Now, buyers get a new Calypso Red exterior colour scheme along with the regular 8 shades. While the larger ORVMs ensure better visibility, the larger dual-tone 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels enhance its muscular looks. The new Tata Harrier 2020 also comes with the factory-fitted sunroof making it feel more airy inside the cabin.
The 2020 Tata Harrier is now available with 6-way adjustable powered driver seat along with the auto dimming interior rear view mirror and new trim on the dashboard. The updated model continues to offer the multiple airbags, hill start and descent control, traction control, ABS with EBD and other safety features.
