We reported earlier that Tata Motors will launch 3 new cars – Harrier BSVI, Gravitas 7-seater SUV and the Nexon EV in the country in the next few weeks. Ahead of the launch, the interior of the Tata Harrier Automatic has been leaked on the internet. The SUV with an automatic gearbox was snapped at Nipani.

Going by the spy images, the Tata Harrier AT comes equipped with a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox with manual mode. It comes with the same gear knob as the manual variant. The spotted model comes fitted with a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and glossy black dashboard trim. Also visible is the circular rive mode selector and the pull-type hand brake. The Tata Harrier AT comes with light brown upholstery, while the seats have adjustable lumbar support. The SUV also gets front and rear centre arm rests. The spotted model also gets new dual-tone alloy wheels.

The BSVI compliant Tata Harrier will receive factory-fitted panoramic sunroof, which was missing in the outgoing model. Adding to it, the SUV will receive new dual-tone paint scheme, tyre pressure monitoring system and newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels.

Tata Harrier Automatic Price

The 2020 Tata Harrier will be powered by a BSVI compliant 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. While powering the BS4 model, this engine produces 138bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. In the updated model, the BSVI engine is likely to produce around 170bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
