2020 Suzuki Hayabusa With New Front Brake Caliper Launched
Suzuki Motorcycle India today rolled out the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa at Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest edition of the sportsbike has received minor styling updates along with a new front brake caliper. The bike also comes with two new colour schemes – Candy Daring Red and Metallic Thunder Gray.
As India will shift to BS6 from 1st April 2020, it will be the last BS4 model of the Hayabusa. The company is working on the bike’s new-generation model that will come with the BS6-compliant engine.
Talking about the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa, the sportsbike uses the same BS4 1,340cc, 4-cylinder inline engine that’s good enough for 197bhp and 155Nm of torque. It comes with Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, which enables rider to select engine maps for different riding conditions.
For performing transmission duties, the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa gets a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. Features such as advanced aerodynamics and quality wind protection enhance its riding experience. Suspension setup of the bike includes an inverted telescopic fork and a like type coil spring.
The stopping power comes from a twin disc brake and a single disc brake at the front and rear axle respectively. The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa also gets dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). The body graphics make it looks more refreshing than the previous model.
