2020 Nissan Kicks Launched at Rs 9.50 Lakh; Gets 154bhp Engine
The Nissan Kicks facelift gets the new 154bhp, 1.3L turbo-charged petrol engine with x-Tronic CVT unit.
Japanese automaker, Nissan has officially launched the much-awaited 2020 Kicks facelift in India. The new model is available with 2 petrol engine options – a 1.5L naturally aspirated and 1.3L turbocharged petrol. It is priced between Rs 9.50 lakh and Rs 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2020 Nissan Kicks comes equipped with the most powerful petrol engine in its class, which is paired to an X-tronic CVT automatic gearbox. The 2020 Nissan Kicks is available with several high-end safety and driver assistance features. It is available with features including vehicle stability management system, electronic stability control, traction control system, hill start assist and cruise control.
Inside the cabin, the 2020 Nissan Kicks gets leather wrapped dual-tone brown and black interior with leather wrapped soft touch dashboard. It gets high-end features like Nissan Connect with Smartwatch connectivity, automatic air conditioning with rear AC vents, advance A-IVI with in-built voice recognition feature and around view mirror. The 2020 Kicks also comes with class-leading 210mm of ground clearance. It is equipped with features like automatic headlamps, front fog lamps with cornering function, rain sensing wipers, push button start and rain sensing wiper.
The new 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, called the HR13 DDT, is capable of producing 156PS of power and 254Nm of torque. This turbo engine boasts of Dual Variable Timing system, which is claimed to offer lowered emissions and higher torque at low rpm. The new X-tronic CVT unit is claimed to be 40% more efficient than the existing CVTs.
Nissan is offering 2 years/50,000kms warranty as standard with the new Kicks SUV. The warranty can be extended up to 5 years/ 1 lakh kms at an attractive price. Adding to it, the company is offering free Road-Side Assistance subscription for 2 years. Nissan also provides a pre-paid maintenance service package at an attractive price starting, Rs 2099 per year.
The 2020 Nissan Kicks is available in 6 exterior colour options – Blade Silver, Night Shade, Fire Red, Bronze Grey, Pearl White and Deep Blue Pearl. It also gets 3 dual-tone colour options – Bronze Grey with Amber Orange, Fire Red with Onyx Black and Pearl White with Onyx Black.
