2020 Nissan Juke Unveiled with Quirky Design

Japanese automaker, Nissan has finally unveiled the next generation Juke SUV. The company claims that the new Juke is Fun to drive as ever, and delivers new levels of performance and technology, within a striking yet roomier dynamic crossover body.

The 2020 Nissan Juke is the B-crossover, which comes with larger dimensions and an athletic stance, 19-inch alloy wheels and coupe style ‘floating roof’ design. It features full LED technology as standard. The SUV gets iconic circular headlamps but with a Y-shaped signature with Nissan’s V-Motion grille. The SUV offers 11 exclusive colours including red body shade and fuji sunset.

The new Nissan Juke is roomier for both passengers and their belongings, with rear-seat knee room increased by 5.8 cm, rear head room by 1.1 cm and a boot capacity of 422 litres – providing 20% more storage room. New soft-touch materials on the dashboard, door trim and foot-wells offer a premium feel, complemented by standard monoform sporty seats and optional Alcantara® or leather upholstery.

In terms of proportions, the 2020 Nissan Juke is 4,210mm in length, 1,595mm in height and 1,800mm in width. It is claimed to be 23kg lighter than the outgoing model. Powering the SUV is a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder DIG-T turbocharged petrol engine that produces 117bhp. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch with paddle shifters. It also offers 3 different driving modes – Eco, Standard and Sport.

The 2020 Juke also gets Nissan’s advanced ProPilot technology, which offers electronically assisted steering, acceleration and braking. In addition, Nissan JUKE offers a full package of safety technologies, including Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Cyclist Recognition, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Lane Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Blind Spot Intervention Connectivity, Infotainment, and BOSE® Personal® Plus.

The new NissanConnect 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.  Drivers can also access TomTom Maps & Live Traffic or activate their on-board Wi-Fi Hotspot to allow passengers connecting their laptops or tablets.
