2020 MG Hector Facelift Spotted; To Also Get A 6-Seat Variant
According to fresh media report, MG Motor India will give an update to its highly-popular Hector SUV early next year. With the update, the carmaker will add a 6-seat variant to the SUV lineup. That means, the 2020 MG Hector facelift will come with both 5-seat and 6-seat option.
Recently, the 6-seater version of the 2020 MG Hector facelift painted in Blue shade was spied inside the company’s production plant. The spy picture reveals that the 2020 MG Hector facelift will feature a black grille, revised headlamps, newly-designed front and rear bumpers and slightly tweaked taillamps.
Compared to the 5-seater version, the MG Hector 6-seater will be around 40mm longer. It will offer captain seats for the 2nd row passengers along with the 3rd row of seat. The 6-seats layout could be reserved for the top-end variant. Read – 4 All-New MG SUVs Coming To India
The 2020 MG Hector 6-seater facelift will come with all the comfort goodies and safety features offered on the range-topping Sharp trim including automatic headlamps, heated ORVMs, rain sensing wipers, a panoramic sunroof, 4 way electrically adjustable co-driver seat, mood lighting (8 colours), a 360 degree view camera and 6 airbags.
The 2020 MG Hector 6-seater facelift will come with the BS6-compliant version of the existing 2.0L diesel and 1.5L petrol engines. The oil burner makes 168bhp with 350Nm and the gasoline unit delivers 141bhp with 250Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a DCT automatic.
