2020 Maruti Swift Facelift Rendered

2020 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift will be the next launch from the Indo-Japanese carmaker in the country. Ahead of its launch, a digital rendering has emerged on the web revealing possible exterior changes that could be made to the hatchback. The rendering shows that the new Swift receives noticeable changes on the front end. Ditching the existing horizontal slats, the front radiator grille now carries a honeycomb pattern.

The front bumper has also been revised with more muscular outer ends. The lower air intake is inverted and larger than before. Unlike most of its rivals that run on 16-inch alloys, the 2020 Maruti Swift facelift might continue to come with the 15-inch alloy wheels. At the rear section, the hatchback might get the revised bumper.

Interior details of the 2020 Maruti Swift facelift are still under the wraps. Though, it’s likely to get an updated 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system along with a 4.2-inch coloured TFT MID. Major change will come in the form a 1.2L Dualjet, Dual VVT petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid technology. The new gasoline unit will be a replacement to the existing 1.2L K12B petrol engine. The Dualjet motor is more powerful and frugal than its replacement. It returns a claimed power of 90PS and 113Nm of torque.

2020 Maruti Swift Facelift Launch

The updated Swift is likely to witness minor price hike. At present, the hatchback (petrol) comes in the price range of Rs 5.19 lakh – Rs 8.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices of the 2020 Maruti Swift facelift are likely to start from Rs 5.25 lakh and can go up to Rs 8.50 lakh.
