2020 Maruti S-Cross Petrol Auto Expo 2020

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross petrol is all set to hit showrooms next month. The carmaker has confirmed that the vehicle will soon see a release; however, its launch date is yet to be announced. Previewed at the 2020 Auto Expo, the S-Cross petrol will share its powertrain with the BS6-compliant Vitara Brezza. The latter one made its debut at the biennial event, followed by its launch in late February.

Under the hood, the 2020 Maruti S-Cross petrol will employ the 1.5L K15B engine developed by Suzuki in-house. The motor is capable to push out a peak power of 105PS against a maximum torque of 138Nm. The gasoline unit is coupled to a 12V mild hybrid system that features brake regeneration, torque assist and start-stop function. The mild hybrid technology will help deliver better fuel efficiency.
