2020 Maruti Super Carry CNG BS6 LCV Launched at Rs 5.07 lakh
Priced at Rs 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2020 Maruti Super Carry is the first LCV to upgrade to BSVI engine.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the BSVI compliant S-CNG variant of the Super Carry LCV. The 2020 Maruti Super Carry CNG is available in a single variant, which is priced at Rs 5.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Promoted as ‘Tarakki Ka Dumdaar Sathi’, the new Super Carry is the first light commercial vehicle to upgrade to BSVI engine.
The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry LCV in BSVI form is equipped with 1.2L, 4-cylinder engine that has been tuned to run on CNG. This engine comes with dual independent ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and injection system. It is capable of producing 64bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 85Nm of torque at 3,000rpm.
For passengers’ safety and security, the new Super Carry mini-truck commercial vehicle gets reverse parking sensor, seat belt reminder, lockable glove box and a large loading deck. Super Carry is the only LCV in the country with a dual fuel S-CNG variant with a 5L Petrol tank, for on-road assurance.

The Super Carry has helped businesses enhance their profitability, a testimony borne by the fact that the model became the second highest selling within just two years of launch. The bi-fuel S-CNG variant has been accepted very well in the Small commercial vehicle market and already contributes around 8% to the Super Carry sales. The introduction of the competitively priced BS6 compliant S-CNG variant coupled with the Government’s renewed focus on CNG fuel availability will further strengthen the Super Carry brand.”
