2020 Maruti Ignis Facelift Fully Revealed In Leaked TVC
The 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift (Europe-spec) has been revealed completely in a leaked TVC video. Major design changes have been made to its front fascia. The updated model features a toothed grille that seems inspired by the newly-launched Maruti S-Presso mini SUV. Instead of the round fog lamp assembly, the 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift carries a new vertical box-shaped housing with sporty black inserts. The side profile looks similar to the current model. The rear section has been revised with a new bumper with faux silver skid plate and vertically positioned reflectors.

Under the hood, the 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift will house the BS6-compliant version of the 1.2L K12M petrol engine. The gasoline will continue to come with the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. In its BS4 form, it returns a claimed power of 82.94PS at 6,000rpm and 113Nm at 4,200rpm. The India-spec 2020 Maruti Ignis facelift will look similar to the European version. The vehicle’s updated model might debut at the Auto Expo 2020 next month. Launch details of the new Ignis are yet to be revealed by the carmaker.
