Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out the updated version of the Dzire compact sedan in the country. The 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift has been offered in seven variants priced from Rs 5.89 lakh to Rs 8.80 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi). Read – Maruti Jimny Launch & Other Details

The model lineup includes four manual versions (LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+) and three AMT (AGS) models. The compact sedan gets two new colour schemes – Phoenix Red and Premium Silver.

Powering the 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift is the new BS6-compliant 1.2L Dualjet K12C petrol engine with first-in-segment idle start-stop technology. The carmaker says that the updated motor has higher compression ratio, piston cooling jet and cooled EGR system that improves its efficiency and reduces friction. As mentioned above, the Dzire facelift comes with both manual and AGS (automatic gear shift) transmission options. While the manual version promises a class-leading fuel economy of 23.26kmpl, the AGS variant delivers 24.12kmpl.

2020 Maruti Dzire Changes

The front fascia of the 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift has been revised completely. The new grille and air dam are now connected as they appear one unit, thanks to the chrome surround. The new wood finish interior gives it’s a premium feel and appeal. The facelifted model also comes with updated SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. Features such as colour TFT MID display, curise control are also on offer. Features such as hill hold assist and electronic stability program are standard on the AGS variants.
