2020 Mahindra XUV500 Rendered In 4 Different Colours
Mahindra XUV500 SUV will enter into its new generation sometime next year. Ahead of its official launch, the SUV might make its first public appearance at the 2020 Auto Expo in February.
Here are a few renderings showing the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 in four bright colours.
The 2020 Mahindra XUV500, which is currently under testing phase, will witness significant design changes along with a pack of new features. Face of the SUV will be revised with a new larger grille with chrome treatment, angular headlamp clusters with vertical LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and larger glass area. Styling bits such as sleeker airdam, roof rails, a shark fin antenna, a more sculpted tailgate and newly-designed taillamps will further add to its new look. Compared to the existing model, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 could be slightly longer and sit on an increased wheelbase.
Material quality might also be classed up. This time around, the carmaker might introduce the XUV500 with 7-seats layout. The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 could also get a new touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. Under the hood, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will house a new, more powerful 2.0L diesel engine that will meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. It’s likely to offer power close to 170bhp. The SUV could also be offered with a petrol powertrain.
Transmission choices will include a manual and an automatic unit. While the range-topping trim will be exclusively offered with AWD (all-wheel-drive), the lower trims will continue to come with FWD (front-wheel-drive) system.
