2020 Mahindra XUV500 Interior Revealed In New Spy Pictures
Mahindra & Mahindra has been testing the new-generation XUV500 for quite some time. The fresh spy pictures reveal new exterior and interior details of the vehicle. The test mule was shod on steel wheels and carried dummy headlamps and taillamps. Though, the production-ready 2020 Mahindra XUV500 is likely to get newly-designed alloy wheels.
You can notice the newly-designed dashboard along with centre dash integrated a large touchscreen infotainment system. The air vents are situated below the touchscreen. It gets a new flat-bottom, 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted audio and cruise controls instead of the regular unit.
The 2020 Mahindra XUV500 could also be equipped with features such as ventilated seats, a dual zone climate control, driver seat with memory function, a panoramic sunroof and a digital instrument console. Read – 7 New Mahindra SUVs Planned For India
Compared to the existing model, the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 will be safer. It’s likely to offer multiple airbag protection along with anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), keyless entry, automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers.
Engine setup of the 2020 Mahindra XUV500 might include a more powerful 2.2L diesel and a new turbocharged petrol unit. The new oil burner will return power output of around 180bhp. Both powertrains will meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The SUV can be had either with a manual gearbox or an automatic transmission.
