2020 Hyundai Verna Mileage Figure Out; Launch Next Month
2020 Hyundai Verna facelift is all set to hit Indian roads next month. Though, the official date is yet to be announced by the carmaker. Ahead of its launch, the mileage, colour and variant details of the sedan have surfaced on the web. As per the leaked information, the new Verna lineup will come in a total of 13 variants spread across four trims – S, S+, SX and SX (O).
There will be three BS6-compliant engines – a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115bhp/144Nm), a 1.5L turbo diesel (115bhp/250Nm) and 1.0L turbo petrol (120bhp/177Nm).
The diesel motor will be offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox option. Its manual version is reported to promise a fuel economy of 21.4kmpl. The 1.5 petrol variants can be had either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. The sedan’s most powerful 1.4L petrol engine will be available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox only.

The sedan’s updated model will witness some noticeable cosmetic changes including full LED headlamps and cornering lamps, projector fog lamps and LED taillamps. While the 1.5L petrol and diesel variants will feature a dark chrome grille, the turbo petrol model will get gloss black grille.
The new Verna turbo petrol will also carry some more sporty elements including twin tip exhaust and all-black interior with red inserts. There will also be paddle shifters and front parking sensors.
