Hyundai Verna, the mid-size sedan from the South Korean carmaker, will soon receive an update in the country. We have already seen partially camouflaged pictures of the 2020 Verna facelift, and now Auto Home got its hands on clearer images. Deriving some of its design bits from the Elantra, the updated version of the Verna looks sharper and refreshing than the existing model.
Unlike regular facelifts, the 2020 Hyundai Verna will see comprehensive changes including elongated headlamps, cascading grille, revised front bumper, larger fog lamps with a chrome strip and a sharper hood. The tail light section looks similar to the current model, while the rear parking camera has been re-positioned to the rear bumper. Read – Hyundai Could Launch The Genesis GV70 SUV In India

Interior of the 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift is still a mystery. Though, it’s likely to receive BlueLink connectivity as we have seen on the Venue. The carmaker might also add a few new comfort and connectivity features to the facelifted model such as an updated infotainment system with advanced telematics, revised instrument cluster, etc.
The new Creta facelift will come with BS6-ready version of the existing powertrains – 1.4L petrol, 1.6L petrol, 1.4 diesel and 1.6L diesel. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard across the range, while a 6-speed automatic transmission will be offered with 1.6L engines only. Read – Hyundai Nexo SUV India Launch Details Out
