The long-awaited 2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift is all set to be launched in the Indian market in the next few days. The company unveiled the new Tucson at the recently concluded 2020 Auto Expo. In this article, we talk about the changes made to the exterior, interior and mechanics of the Tucson facelift.

The 2020 Hyundai Tucson receives subtle design changes in the form of bolder cascading front grille and new Penta-projector LED headlamps. The SUV gets new LED tail-lamps, flared wheel arches, panoramic sunroof and the twin-tip exhaust system for the sporty character.

Inside the cabin, the 2020 Hyundai Tucson gets premium black interior theme with leather touches on the dashboard. In terms of features, the SUV gets new advanced tyre pressure monitoring system, powered tailgate, electric parking brake, 8-way adjustable powered front-passenger seat, wireless charger and the Hyundai Blue Link connected car tech.

It comes equipped with a new floating type 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Hyundai iblue and Voice Recognition, and Infinity premium sound system. The Blue Link features include safety, security, geographic information services, vehicle management relationship management, artificial intelligence, alert services and local based services. The new 2020 Hyundai Tucson is available with 2.0-litre diesel and petrol engines. While the diesel unit is good for 185PS of power and 400Nm of torque, the gasoline engine produces 152PS and 192Nm of torque. The diesel Tucson comes with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox.

As standard safety features, the 2020 Hyundai Tucson gets 6 airbag with pretensioner and load limiter, side and curtain airbag, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, Downhill Brake Control, Brake Assist, Front and rear parking sensors and ABS with EBD.
