2020 Hyundai ix25 (2020 Hyundai Creta) will soon go on sale in the Chinese market. Ahead of its official launch, Beijing-Hyundai has organised a media drive of the compact SUV and here we bring you the clear pictures from the event.
Exterior design of the 2020 Hyundai Creta seems inspired by the company’s all-new Hyundai Palisade flagship SUV. With comprehensive changes, the SUV looks bolder than before.

This time around, the headlamps have three sections divided by chrome lining along with an L-shaped LED turn indicators. The front bumper gets brushed aluminium finished faux skid plate.

Minor dimensional changes have also been made. The 2020 Hyundai Creta is 30mm longer, 10mm wider and 8mm shorter than the current generation. It measures 4300mm in length, 1790mm in width and 1635mm in height with a wheelbase of 2610mm. It offers a boot space of 444-litre.
Interior of the 2020 Hyundai ix25 comes with a pack of new features. It gets a newly-designed compact steering wheel, a fully-digital instrument cluster with twin-segment screen and MID, climate control system under a single panel, a large portrait-style central display and sleek horizontal central air vents. The China-spec 2020 Hyundai ix25 (Hyundai Creta) also comes with a 360-degree camera system, electric parking brake with auto-hold function and a panoramic sunroof.
On the safety front, the SUV offers advanced driver assistance systems that include Lane Keeping Assist (LFA), Driver Fatigue Reminder (DAW), Front Collision Warning Braking System (FCA), Full Speed Domain Adaptation Cruise (ASCC) and Lane Departure Warning (LDWS). Engine-wise, the 2020 Hyundai ix25 comes with a G4FL 1.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that’s good for 114.75PS and 144Nm of peak torque. Its mileage figure stands at 18.86kmpl (depending on the mode). The SUV offers four driving modes – Smart, Sport, Eco, Comfort and three terrain modes – Snow, Mud and Sand.
In India, the 2020 Hyundai Creta is likely to come with three engine options – a 115PS 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 120PS 1.0L turbocharged petrol and 115PS 1.5L turbocharged diesel. The SUV’s all-new model will debut at the 2020 Auto Expo, followed by its launch.
