2020 Hyundai Creta Brochure Leaked – Variant-Wise Features & Details
The second-generation Hyundai Creta is set to launch in India tomorrow (16th March, 2020). Ahead of its price announcement, we have got our hands on its brochure revealing variant-wise details and specifications. The 2020 Hyundai Creta will come with three engine options – a 1.5L petrol (115PS), a 1.4L turbo petrol (140PS) and a 1.5L diesel (115PS). A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is reserved for the 1.4L turbo petrol variants.
The 1.5L diesel model can be had either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5L petrol variants come with a 6-speed manual IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission). Suspension setup of the new Creta includes McPherson strut with coil spring upfront and coupled torsion beam axle at the rear.
The E, EX and S trims come with front disc and rear drum brakes. The rear disc brakes are offered only on the SX and SX (O) variants. While the E and EX variants are assembled with 205/65 R16 steel wheels, the S trim gets styled wheel. The larger 215/60 R17 alloys are offered only on the top-end SX and SX (O) trims. The overall length, width and height of the 2020 Hyundai Creta stand at 4,300mm, 1,790mm and 1,635mm respectively. The SUV sits on 2,610mm of wheelbase and offers fuel tank capacity of 50L. The SUV will be offered in multiple colour schemes Polar White, Galaxy Blue, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Red Mulberry, Lava Orange and Titan Grey.
The turbo petrol variant will be exclusively made available in three shades – Deep Forest (single tone), Polar White with Phantom Black Roof and Lava Orange with Phantom Black Roof.
