Official bookings of the all-new Hyundai Creta have been commenced ahead of its launch on 17th March. Buyers can reserve the vehicle by paying a sum of Rs 21,000, which is fully refundable. The 2020 Hyundai Creta is estimate to cost between Rs 10 lakh – Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom).

 Prior to its launch, the variant and mileage details of the new Creta have leaked online. The SUV’s second-generation model will come in five trims – E, EX, S, SX and SX (O) – and three engine and 10 colour options.

Features such as 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 7-inch instrument cluster, front ventilated seats, remote engine start-stop, electric parking brake with auto hold function and 6 airbags will be exclusively offered on the top-end SX (O) trim. The list of standard features will include projector headlamps, black radiator grille, dual-tone bumper, silver B-C-pillar garnish, a 3.5-inch mono TFT multi information display, D-cut steering with tilt adjustment, height adjustable driver’s seat, remote locking, rear AC vents, power adjustable ORVMs, lane change indicator, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, speed sensing door locks, high speed alert and more.

New Hyundai Creta Specs

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will share its powertrains with the Kia Seltos. Though, it will be more fuel economical than the Seltos. The new Creta will come with 1.5L petrol, 1.5L petrol and 1.4L turbo petrol engines and a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options.

Mileage figure of the 1.5L petrol and diesel variants will stand at 16.8kmpl. The Kia Seltos, on the other hand, returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.5kmpl (1.5L petrol and diesel) and 21kmpl (1.4L petrol).
