Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has rolled out the BS6-compliant version of the X-Blade motorcycle at a starting price of Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Noida). The model comes in two variants – Single Disc and Dual Disc – available in four colour schemes – Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Spartan Red, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. The bikemaker says that its PGM-FI system has 8 onboard sensors that constantly inject optimum fuel and air mixture to offer better performance and efficiency. The updated engine has counter weight balancer that not only reduces friction, but ensures smooth acceleration from low to high rpm as well. The BS6 Honda X-Blade also receives rear monoshock suspension unit, which is placed underneath the seat. The bike also comes with a new rear disc brake that’s claimed to offer effective braking and better control.
The 2020 Honda X-Blade BS6 comes equipped with a new engine stop switch that turns off the engine on brief stops with the flick of a switch. It also gets the street-tech digital meter featuring digital clock, gear position indicator and service due indicator. The bike sits on 1347mm long wheelbase and has 130mm wide rear tyre. Some of its key features include robo-faced LED headlamp, new dynamic graphics on fuel tank, chunky grab rails, sharp side covers, hugger fenders, link type gear shifter, dual outlet muffler and LED taillamps. The company is offering a special 6 year warranty package that includes 3 years standard warranty and 3 years optional extended warranty.
