The 2020 Honda WR-V facelift will receive subtle design changes, new BSVI engines and feature-loaded interior.

Japanese automaker, Honda will launch 3 new cars – the new City sedan, new WR-V facelift and the BSVI Jazz hatchback in the Indian market. The new models will be launched in the Indian market in June 2020. The next-gen Honda City will receive significant design changes, all-new interior and the new 1.5L petrol engine. On the other hand, the 2020 Honda WR-V facelift receives subtle design changes and upgraded interior.

The company has released the details of the design of the 2020 Honda WR-V facelift. It comes equipped with new bold front grille with multiple horizontal slats, new front bumper with less pronounced creases and a faux skid plate.

The 2020 Honda WR-V facelift comes equipped with LED projector headlamp with integrated daytime running lights and position lamps. At the back, the WR-V facelift gets advanced C-shaped LED rear combination lamps. The crossover also gets cruise control and one-touch electric sunroof.

Inside the cabin, the overall design and feature-list will remain the same. It will be equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The crossover is likely to receive new seat fabric pattern and new features.

2020 Honda WRV BS6

The 2020 Honda WR-V will be offered with BSVI compliant 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines. While the former is good for 89bhp of power and 110Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 99bhp and 200Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. The WR-V facelift won’t have a direct rival, but it could impact the sales of the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and others in its category.

If media reports are to be believed, the BSVI Honda Jazz will only be made available in petrol version. It will be powered by the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. The company will continue to offer the existing City in the BSVI form.
