2020 Honda WRV Facelift

Honda Cars India will soon roll out the updated version of the WR-V subcompact SUV in the country. Official prices are likely to be announced sometime next month, after the launch of the fifth-generation Honda City. The latter is slated to be unveiled on 16th March, 2020. The 2020 Honda WRV will witness minor cosmetic and feature upgrades along with the BS6-compliant powertrains.

The facelifted WR-V will retain most of the design elements. Though, it will feature a new grille with multiple horizontal slats replacing the old honeycomb pattern. The front bumper has also been revised with more pronounced creases and slightly less black cladding on the bottom. The compact SUV will also get a faux skid plate.

The side and rear profile won’t seen any major change. Interior details are still under the wraps. The 2020 Honda WRV is likely to come with new seat fabric patterns with a few new features.

As mentioned above, the facelifted Honda WR-V will be offered with the BS6-complaint version of the existing petrol and diesel engines. This means, the compact SUV’s petrol model will use the same 1.2L motor that’s good enough for 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. Read – New Honda Compact SUV (Ford EcoSport Rival) Debut in 2021

The diesel variant, on the other hand, will use the 1.5L engine pushing out a maximum power of 99bhp and a peak torque of 200Nm. Similar to the current model, the updated one is likely to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
