2020 Honda Grazia BS6 Launched – More Features, Better Mileage

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has rolled out the updated Grazia 125cc scooter with BS6-compliant engine. The new model lineup has been offered in two variants – Standard and Deluxe – and three colour schemes – Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Spartan Red, Mat Cyber Yellow and Mat Axis Grey. Prices of the 2020 Honda Grazia start from Rs 73,336 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), thus making it around Rs 11,000 more expensive than its old BS4 version. The bikemaker has made some noticeable changes to the new model. The scooter now features LED DC headlamp and Dio-inspired LED DRL. Similar to the other Honda scooters, the 2020 Honda Grazia gets a pass light switch and an external fuel-filler cap. Its full-digital instrument console has a bar-type tachometer on both sides of the speedometer along with a range indicator and a clock. It also displays information such as average fuel efficiency, distance to empty, real-time fuel efficiency and three-step ECO indicator.

Honda claims that the new Grazia has more storage space to offer including the redesigned under seat storage and glove box. The scooter comes fitted with 12-inch front and 10-inch rear tyres with alloy wheels (only on the top-end Deluxe trim). For braking duties, the updated Grazia has 190mm front disc (optional) and 130mm rear drum brake along with the standard CBS (Combi braking system). Powering the 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 is the 124cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with Honda Eco technology (PGM-FI HET) and enhanced smart power (eSP). It also features the Honda ACG starter and idling stop system. The motor produces a maximum power of 8.29PS at 6,000rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The updated engine is claimed to deliver 13% better fuel economy than the previous model. Transmission duties are carried out by a CVT unit.
