2020 Honda City Launch

The fifth-generation Honda City is all set to make its world debut next month in Thailand. Ahead of it, the sedan’s new model has been spotted in its production-ready avatar.

There will be headrests for all three occupants of the rear seat. Other changes might include a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. It will continue to offer the rear AC vents, automatic climate control, sunroof and cruise control.

Honda will introduce the 2020 City with BS6-ready engines along with a diesel-CVT combination. The petrol variants of the sedan will get the 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbocharged i-VTEC engine pushing out power around 120bhp.

The diesel models will derive power from a BS6-compliant 1.5L motor. This time around, the Honda City might also get a 1.5L, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine with the brand’s i-MMD mild hybrid technology.
