2020 BMW G310R, G310 GS Teased; Bookings Open

BMW Motorrad will start taking pre-bookings for the new 2020 BMW G 310R and the BMW G 310 GS in India from September 1, 2020. Interested buyers can pre-book the motorcycles by visiting any BMW Motorrad dealerships or online via official website. Deliveries will be done on a first come first serve basis.

Commenting on the pre-launch bookings, Mr. Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “BMW Motorrad India has built a very robust position among motorcycling enthusiasts in India. With the BMW G 310 bikes, thousands of riding enthusiasts have entered the premium world of BMW Motorrad to explore riding in a completely different way. These two bikes offer a true BMW experience at competitive costs. Refined, redefined and reenergized, the BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS are now back in new BS-VI compliant variants. With the pre-launch bookings, customers and riding enthusiasts have a chance to secure the purchase ahead of the launch and be the first in the world to ride these new bikes on the roads.”

The company has also released multiple teaser images, which shows some visual upgrades. There is orange colour in many functional parts of the motorcycle including the alloys and the frame. It also gets horizontal rear fender. The new motorcycles have already been spotted several times on the Indian roads.

The new 2020 BMW G310R and the G 310 GS will come with golden finished front suspension. The new bikes will receive new headlamps, re-styled exhaust pipe and revised digital instrument console. The headlamp unit will have LED DRLs.

The 2020 BMW G310R and the G 310 GS will be powered by a BSVI-compliant 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. In the BS4 form, this engine produces 34PS and 28Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The same engine-gearbox combination is also available with the BSVI compliant TVS Apache RR 310.
