Yamaha claims that the new 2019 R25 is 8kmph faster than the old model.

The new 2019 Yamaha R25 has finally made its world premiere alongside the new R3 sports bike at an event in Jakarta, Indonesia. The all-new R25 features sportier stance and improved aerodynamic. In order to make it a faster machine, the company also made subtle mechanical changes.

Yamaha claims that the new R25 is 8kmph faster than the old one that delivers 173kmph. And the credit for this goes to its better aerodynamics bodywork that reduces the drag coefficient from 0.347 to 0.323. The new 2019 Yamaha R25 uses the same 250cc, parallel-twin, liquid cooled engine that’s good enough for 35.5bhp at 12,00rom and 22.6Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. Check Out – 2019 Yamaha MT15 Naked Bike Pictures & Details

Touted as a ‘cross-layered”, the fairing of the new 2019 Yamaha R25 resembles to the bodywork done on the Yamaha YZF-R1M and YZF-R1. It gets a full LCD display offering an adjustable shift timing light. For performing suspension duties, the bike gets upside-down front forks fixed on an aluminium triple crown similar to the Yamaha R1 and R1M.

Braking power for the new 2019 Yamaha R25 comes from the same single hydraulic discs front and rear brakes. The bike will be available with both ABS and non-ABS variants. As far as its India launch is concerned, there is no clarity whether it will come to our market or not. Though, the media reports suggest that the new-generation Yamaha R25 might hit Indian sometime roads next year.
