2019 Yamaha MT-09 Launched; Priced at Rs 10.55 Lakh
2019 Yamaha MT-09 comes in 3 colours – Night Fluo, Yamaha Blu and Tech Black.
Yamaha Motor India has introduced the 2019 model year of the MT-09 middleweight street-fighter at Rs 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). That means, the new 2019 Yamaha MT-09 is around Rs 16,000 pricier than the old model. Official bookings have already been commenced across the nation and deliveries will begin in coming weeks. The 2019 Yamaha MT-09 receives subtle design changes, new body graphics and new colour schemes. No changes have been made to its engine. The bike continues to derive its power from the same 847cc, three-cylinder in-line engine pushing out a maximum power of 113bhp at 10,000rpm and 87.5Nm at 8,500rpm.
This liquid-cooled motor is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and the Quick Shift System (QSS). The middleweight street-fighter gets 41mm USD forks and a monoshock suspension unit at the front and rear axles respectively. Additionally, it gets ABS (anti-lock braking system), traction control system, an assist and slipper clutch. The 2019 Yamaha MT-09 has been made available in three colour schemes – Night Fluo, Yamaha Blu and Tech Black. The bike gets new MT-09 badge with a red finish on the tank shroud. It continues to feature a twin-pod LED headlamp, a single-piece flat handlebar, split seats, red painted alloy wheels, conventional blinkers and LED taillamp. It has a kerb weight of 193kg.
