The next-generation Yamaha FZ V3.0 will be equipped with ABS system as standard.

Yamaha Motor India is all set to launch an all-new motorcycle in the country on January 21, 2019. The company hasn’t revealed anything about the motorcycle. Several media reports claim that Yamaha could launch the MT-15 entry-level naked sports bike, which is based on the Yamaha R15 V3.0. It is almost certain that the next-gen Yamaha FZ S V3.0 will be launched on January 2019.

The new-generation FZ V3 has been spotted testing on multiple times, which clearly indicates that the launch is near. In fact, the spotted model looks production-ready. The next-gen model will come with several changes in terms of styling as well as mechanics. The new FZ FI shares styling cues from the bigger FZ25. It will have newly designed headlamp setup, which will be inspired from the 250cc sibling. It gets re-styled fuel tank with new tank shrouds that gives it muscularity.

The spotted model was equipped with a small belly pan, which suggests that the next-gen model will be available in two variants – S and FZ. The motorcycle will also be available in single as well split seat configurations. The tail-end is also expected to share design with Yamaha FZ25.

The new motorcycle will be powered by the same 149cc, single-cylinder engine that powers the existing model. We believe that Yamaha could tune this powertrain for higher power outputs. It is confirmed that the new model will receive an ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard.
