2019 Toyota Fortuner and Innova Launched, Get New Features
The 2019 Toyota Innova and Fortuner SUV launched with updated interiors and new features
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today rolled out 2019 Crysta and Fortuner with some new changes. The prices too have been revised, the Innova Crysta is priced between Rs 14.93 lakh – Rs 22.43 lakh and the Innova Touring Sport costs between Rs 18.92 lakh – Rs 23.47 lakh (ex-showroom).
While there are no changes made to the exterior, it’s inside the cabin both the cars have received updates. Starting with 2019 Toyota Innova Crysta, it has received an option of new ivory leather upholstery, perforated leather seats, heat rejection glass and USB fast charging. Though these features will only be available on select diesel variants. The Innova Touring Sport version too has received Heat Rejection Glass and USB Fast Charging Fort.
Just like the updated Fortuner, the 2019 Toyota Fortuner gets an optional Chamois interior color, perforated seats and heat rejection glass. These aforementioned features are available on 4×2 AT, 4×4 MT and 4×4 diesel variants only. The 2019 Fortuner costs between Rs 18.92 lakh – Rs 23.47 lakh (ex-showroom).
Since these are minor updates, no mechanical changes have been made to the 2019 Innova and Fortuner. The Innova still has the same 2.7-litre petrol, 2.4-litre diesel and 2.8-litre diesel. And the Fortuner too retains the same 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel.
Innova and Fortuner have always been top-selling products for Toyota in India, and March 2019 was no different. A total of 6984 units of Innova and 1976 units of Fortuner were sold in march thus recording a month-on-month rise of 5% and 14% respectively.
