2019 Suzuki Vitara SUV Revealed With New Engines and More Features
The 2019 Suzuki Vitara SUV receives several styling upgrades, new tech features and two new turbocharged petrol engines
Japanese automaker, Suzuki has launched the new 2019 Vitara SUV for the UK market. The new model receives several styling upgrades and two new engines. In the United Kingdom, the base SZ4 variant is priced at £16,999 (about Rs 15 lakh approx) and the top-spec SZ5 ALLGRIP AT variant cost £25,649 (around Rs 23.35 lakh approx).
In terms of design, the 2019 Suzuki Vitara gets more elegant front fascia with redesigned grille and lower bumper. The tail-light design has also been revised with LED graphics. The SZ5 trim gets new seat upholstery, while the soft touch material has been added to the dashboard. A central 4.2-inch color display has been added to the instrument panel. The SUV gets seven airbags, alloy wheels, cruise control with speed limited, automatic AC, electric windows and Bluetooth connectivity as standard. The high-end variants get 17-inch alloys, new seat upholstery, Smartphone link audio and a navigation system. The top-spec model gets LED projector lamps, keyless entry with start button, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, dual sensor brake support and a panoramic sunroof. Suzuki Vitara SUV is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder Boosterjet engine producing 109bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the SUV gets an optional six-speed automatic gearbox. It also gets a 1.4-litre turbocharged DITC engine that is good for 138bhp of power and 220Nm of torque. The SUV accelerates to 100kmph from zero in just 9.5 seconds.
