New Renault Kwid 2019 Facelift

The new Renault Kwid 2019 will receive ABS with EBD and seat belt pre-tensioners as standard.

Renault India will bring in two new models this year – the Kwid hatchback facelift and the new-generation Duster SUV. While the former will see a release in coming months, the latter one will hit showrooms by the end of 2019. However, the official launch date and details of both models are yet to be confirmed by the carmaker.

Talking about the new Renault Kwid 2019, the facelifted model will receive more safety features with slightly updated interior and exterior. Reports suggest that the hatchback will receive ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution) and seat belt pre-tensioners as standard safety fitments.

Save for the entry-level STD trim, all variants of the new Renault Kwid 2019 will offer driver side airbag. Inside, the hatchback will receive a new all digital console, an updated touchscreen interface supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (standard) and an updated LCD for the speedometer console. No changes will be made to its engine setup. The new Renault Kwid 2019 will continue to come with the 0.8L and 1.0L petrol engine options paired with a manual and AMT gearbox. Read – Renault Kwid Family To Get Three New Models
